Vacation Spot
We stayed at this amazing ocean front house in San Diego for a
lovely family vacation. We had 6 adult couples, all married and we
had a wonderful time. The house was spotless when we arrived, and we
loved the Asian themed decorations. The first thing we did was go
out to the patio and admire the spectacular view of the Pacific
Ocean, the warm ocean breezes, and the beautiful flowers. The house
had all the amenities we needed: 3 well appointed, comfortable rooms
each with their own full bathroom (you could have easily fit in 2
more people as there were roll out beds in the master bedroom) ; a
full kitchen with all the appliances and pots and pans, a
comfortable living room with lots of books and games and TV where we
watched movies on DVD; a wet bar with wine and martini glasses, a
washer and dryer; a grill and a Jacuzzi. We had so much fun grilling
on the patio, eating outside while enjoying the beautiful sunsets
and ocean view, and sitting in the warm Jacuzzi at night and looking
up at the stars. We even brought our pet Maltese and I'm sure he had
a great time too -- it's so nice to find a vacation rental that's
pet friendly. It was incredibly relaxing and we are so glad we found
this place to stay. Chris was wonderful and made arrangements for
this vacation rental so incredibly easy. We absolutely recommend
this home, it's a jewel! We will most certainly be back!

My family stayed here for my birthday. We searched and found the
special place we were looking for! We brought our 4 month old rescue
German shepherd (Service Dog in Training) with us. There is an
enclosed area we used to keep our dog safe.) Oh my goodness, this
place was so wonderful that we didn't leave to go to any of the many
sites to visit, like the SD zoo, Disneyland, LegoLand, etc. We just
spent time sitting out on the deck watching people and other
creatures in the ocean. We also spent a lot of time on the beach. We
bbq'd and found this place sooo relaxing, actually too relaxing. The
house was so clean, comfortable and spacious. It had free movie
channels but we didn't even watch tv. This house also has a
spectacular view. We could even see the ocean from the master
bedroom through the courtyard! And now I find out that it has
upgraded to having a jacuzzi on the deck. I am now trying to get a
reservation for 2 weeks so maybe we will actually take some time to
visit some theme parks and other places, ha! Good luck to me, hope
they have an opening. Oh, one more thing, the owner, Chris, was so
nice and friendly and had fresh flowers in the house. She was an
awesome hostess!

"A family vacation with a view!!"
Chris's beach home is very spacious and well appointed with a
fantastic view from the large deck and yard. All the amenities and
kitchen extras were great since we entertained local family on three
different occasions during our week there. Chris attended to an
issue with the hot tub quickly. Overall, a wonderful vacation,
beautiful memories made and I would definitely rent the home again.

We've stayed in dozens of various houses, coast to coast and
this short visit was truly memorable! Kitchen was perfect,
unexpectedly well appointed with all we needed. We mistakenly
purchased spices- and we didn't need to. Master suite was more than
adequate. Unfortunately our rental truck was too tall to fit into
the garage, but otherwise it is a real treat to have garage parking,
as few Vacation Rentals include garage parking. Short walk down to
the beach for swimming and fishing. Sea Perch! We caught a ton of
them. The view was great; surfers from sunrise to sunset. The only
downside was that we didn't have longer to stay. Absolute
recommendation.

I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful home to anyone
looking for a vacation rental. The location simply cannot be beaten
- just step out on to the large, private patio for miles and miles
of ocean views. Within an hour of arriving we were enjoying a lovely
sunset and watching dolphins. The house is very spacious and has
everything you could possibly need. The master bedroom suite was
huge and extremely comfortable - loved the walk in closet, enormous
comfy bed and being able to listen to the ocean at night. There were
just three of us staying but this would be a great place for a
larger group. The house is within walking distance of a couple of
restaurants and a short drive from many other choices. San Diego was
just 30 minutes away. The process of renting the house was simple
and stress free and Chris was prompt in answering emails and sending
info. The house has a comprehensive information pack which made the
arriving and leaving process very easy. I really hope we get to
return again - four nights were just not enough.

This house and its view are even
better than the photos show, if you can believe that! Even though it
rained a bit during our stay, we still had a great experience. We
had 8 people (including one infant) staying here, so it turned out
to be a great deal, compared to separate hotel rooms, especially
since we could cook and grill ourselves. We spent many a morning and
afternoon just sitting on the deck taking in the breathtaking view.
The jacuzzi is a great addition, and the neighborhood is perfect for
nice long walks, and it's within walking distance to shops and
restaurants. I highly recommend this rental!

I spent my summers, as a child, on Cape Cod with my family. The
ocean is always a source of renewal, regeneration and whether one
likes it or not, introspection! Whether sitting on the deck or the
beach, I found myself staring out across the waves or just plain
people watching! Our three adult children spent the week with us,
which was a thrill! We saw a seal most mornings frolicking in the
waves with surfers. There were whales in the distance spouting and
breaching. Dolphin pods were plentiful. We got a kick out of
beachcombing (jellyfish blobs), morning walks, sunsets and the zoo!
Blarney, (our dachshound) loved to bark at the beachgoers! We had a
blast really! Supurb!

What a wonderful vacation home! Stunning views over the ocean, from
both inside the house and from the lovely patio area outside. Fun to
watch all the surfers and dolphins. A huge plus is the path down to
the beach just a few houses away. A group of us Minnesotans flew out
to help our Aunt Carol celebrate her 80th b-day. The well-equipped
kitchen made hosting a dinner party a breeze. We hope to be back
some day!!

This is an unbelievable house right on the ocean looking out with
spectacular sunsets that rival Mexico and Hawaii! Chris was
fantastic and showed us throughout when we arrived. Very easy beach
access and the street its on is a cute and quiet street. What made
our experience more valuable was we were able to bring our Golden
Retrievers with us! The beach is not a dog beach but that didn't
matter. Taking walks in the neighborhood did them well. We will
never forget our experience and because of this awesome house we may
make this an annual get together! I would highly recommend this
house to anyone! Thank you Chris!!!!!!!!
